Vickie Gaskill

My career in property management began over 40 years ago. Originally, I worked as a vendor that serviced the property management industry. I owned a carpet cleaning firm. I came to work for Bell-Anderson and Assoc, LLC, AMO®, CRMC®, in Kent, WA in May of 1986. Initially I was a bookkeeper, then a property manger and now the owner. I, along with my husband, purchased Bell-Anderson in September of 2002. In 2018, along with my daughter, I purchased Willow Properties, another property management co. in Lakewood, WA.

I have managed community associations of all varieties, single-family rental dwellings, small multi-family communities and a few small commercial properties. Along with obtaining my real estate broker’s license, I have earned 4 professional designations, Certified Property Manager (CPM®), Master Property Manager (MPM®), Residential Property Manager (RMP®), and Accredited Residential Manager (ARM®). I am an Emeritus Faculty Instructor for the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM®) and a National Faculty Instructor for the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM®). This provides me the opportunity teach locally and to travel around the country teaching various aspects of real estate property management. In 2010 I served at the National President for NARPM®. I am an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI®) and have taken numerous classes from them.

I have written many articles and seminars about professional property management issues and personal enrichment. In 2008, I co-authored the book: Community Associations: A Guide to Successful Management, published by IREM® (www.irem.org). I was the sole author who participated in the second edition rewrite in 2018. In 2008 I was inducted into IREM®’s Academy of Authors.

On a personal basis, I was married for 42 years before my husband passed away in 2011. I have 2 daughters, who also work in the property management, 2 sons-in-laws, and 4 grandchildren, whom I love to spoil. I enjoy football, camping and fly fishing anytime I get the chance.
